I. M. A. R. was founded in 1994. We methodically delve into emigration from Mecklenburg to the USA. We focus on emigration overseas from the Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Western Pomerania regions that reached its peak during the second half of the 19th century.
